Bellingham, WA — November 2, 2026 — Stockton’s Paint, a long-standing cornerstone of the local community, today announced it will consolidate its two local paint stores into a single, high-capacity project hub located at 1255 Barkley Blvd Suite 109 Bellingham, WA 98226, effective January 1, 2027.

The strategic move combines the full inventory, delivery fleet, and expert staff of both existing locations under one roof. The transition marks the next chapter in the company’s 90-year local history, scaling up operations to meet the growing demands of professional painting contractors and residential DIYers across the region.
By pooling resources into the more modern facility, Stockton’s Paint will introduce significant service upgrades designed to maximize customer efficiency, including:
- Expanded Tinting Capacity: The addition of multiple state-of-the-art tinting machines to eliminate morning order bottlenecks and dramatically reduce customer wait times.
- Complete Staff Retention: Every counter pro, color-matching expert, and sales representative from both stores will be retained, ensuring customers work with the same familiar faces.
- Enhanced Regional Access: A strategic location situated just seconds off the freeway, across from Lowes, significantly cutting down travel times for busy painting crews and customers.
- Dedicated Free Parking: A spacious, easy-to-navigate parking lot designed to safely accommodate heavy-duty contractor trucks, vans, and commercial loading.
“Our downtown store has a beautiful, deep history that we cherish just as much as our customers do,” said Chris Gordziel, General Manager of Stockton’s Paint. “However, to preserve our local legacy and serve this growing community for the next 90 years, we simply required a modern footprint that could physically support our advanced inventory and logistics. We are not leaving our history behind; we are bringing our entire team and decades of expertise into a space that can finally deliver a faster, stress-free customer experience.”
To honor the historical significance of the downtown storefront, the new facility will feature a permanent “Legacy Wall” showcasing archival photographs of the business through the decades.
All customer accounts, commercial pricing tiers, and proprietary custom color formulas will automatically transfer to the centralized computer system with zero disruption to active contractor operations.
