- New applications are applied for when there is not a currently licensed business or the currently licensed business has a different type of liquor license.
- Assumptions are applied for when there is a currently licensed business with the same exact type of liquor license.
- Change of location is applied for when the currently licensed business owner wants to move the business to another location.
- In lieu of current privilege applications are applied for when a currently licensed business owner wants to change the current privileges.
New applications in Whatcom County
November 7th – Fred Meyer #667, 1225 W Bakerview Road, Bellingham, applied for a change of liquor license class in lieu of current privilege. Applicants are listed as Fred Meyer Stores, Inc., James C Alberg, David W Deatherage, Paul W Heldman and Darrell D Webb.
November 8th – Otto Capital LLC applied to assume the cannabis processor license currently held by Green Island Organics LLC at 6481 Portal Way, #C, Ferndale.
November 12th – Hey Dumplin’ LLC at 1263 Barkley Boulevard, Ste 102, Bellingham, applied for a new restaurant beer and wine service license. Applicants listed are Hey Dumplin’ LLC and Oleg Viktorovich Vetkov.
November 13th – Big Bear Plant LLC applied to assume the cannabis producer Tier 3 and cannabis processor licenses currently held by Rocking Kine Farms at 5373 Guide Meridian, Building F, Bellingham. Applicant listed is Daisey D LLC.
November 13th – Iowa East at 1115 Iowa Street, Bellingham, applied for a new grocery store beer/wine license. Applicants are listed as Urban Market LLC and Jessica Amber Solem.
November 13th – House of Cannabis Bellingham applied to assume the cannabis retailer license currently held by Evolve Washington at 4712 Pacific Highway, Bellingham. Applicant is listed as North End Holdings DCC, LLC.
November 13th – On Rice Thai Cuisine at 312 Front Street, Lynden, applied for a new restaurant spirits, beer and wine service bar license with a soju service endorsement. Applicants listed as Jaosua Co., Anuchit Tipasathien and Nutthinee Kiewboriboon.
November 19th – Iowa West applied to assume the grocery store beer and wine license currently held by Starvin’ Sam’s Mini Market No 2 at 1101 Iowa Street, Bellingham. Applicants are listed as Urban Market LLC, Najib Boulos and Jessica Amber Solem.

November 6th – Soy House Restaurant at 400 W Holly Street, Bellingham. 2 in lieu of current privilege applications were approved for current restaurant spirits, beer and wine service bar license.
November 8th – 2020 Solutions Pacific Highway at 4770 Pacific Highway, Ste A, Bellingham. In lieu of current privilege and change of class application was approved for current cannabis retailer license.
November 15th – Green Essentials LLC at 3801 Bakerview Spur, Ste 101, Bellingham. Change of location application was approved for current cannabis producer Tier 1 license.
November 27th – ABC Agency LLC at 4220 Meridian Street, Ste. 102, Bellingham. Assumption of license approved for current cannabis retailer license.
