The closures in Washington are part of 59 confirmed closures across 23 states out of approximately 200 locations operated by the retailer at its petition date, according to court records. Washington and California each have 5 closures, trailing Florida with 8 closures.
The Washington locations scheduled for closure, according to the June 1, 2026, filing, are:
- 3560 Meridian St in Bellingham
- 5971 State Hwy 303 NE in Bremerton
- 1716 West Marine View Dr in Everett
- 2428 Washington St in Port Townsend
- 5306 East Sprague Ave in Spokane
The court approved the store-closing motion on June 9, 2026, according to court records. Hilco Merchant Resources is reported to be running the liquidation sales under a consulting agreement signed May 10, 2026, with sales projected to run through September 27, 2026, according to the agreement. West Marine has stated that gift cards remain valid online and at remaining locations after each store closure, and customers can retrieve orders placed prior to the liquidation cutoff dates.
